MARK effects are similar to BLEED effects in that they decrease the enemy health by 1% per turn with one important difference: while the magnitude of a BLEED status effect decreases by 1 each combat round, a MARK effect remains until removed by other combat options. A maximum of three MARKs can be applied.

Depending on character configuration, consuming MARKs can apply other status effects, such as STUN, CONFUSE, and BLEED.
